In Monday's league match, the host Copley Indians softball team scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers.
The Indians (8-13) will now prepare for their match against Roosevelt (Kent, OH). The Rough Riders go into the Suburban - American match with a 2-14 record. In their last match, Roosevelt was routed by Aurora (Aurora, OH), 10-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Black Tigers battle the Aurora Greenmen (Aurora, OH) in a Suburban - American match, on Wednesday, May 7. Cuyahoga Falls will attempt to better on its 4-14 season record. The Greenmen go into the match with a 19-1 record after their 10-0 league win over Roosevelt (Kent, OH).
