The Cuba City Cubans softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Darlington Redbirds to 0 in the Cubans league win on Monday.

The Cubans now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mineral Point for a SWAL battle on Tuesday, May 6. Cuba City will encounter a Pointers team coming off a 17-0 league win over Boscobel (Boscobel, WI). The Pointers record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Darlington moves to 1-11 on the season. The Redbirds travel to Pecatonica (Blanchardville, WI) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 3-8. Pecatonica lost 8-6 in their recent league battle against Barneveld (Barneveld, WI)
