In Monday's non-league test, the Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets (Beverly Hills, MI) softball squad got by the visiting Warren Woods-Tower Titans (Warren, MI), by a count of 8-7.
Next, the Yellowjackets meet the South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 9. Detroit Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 10-14 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Plymouth Christian Academy (Canton, MI).
The Titans (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Lake Shore (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Shorians go into the non-league test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Lake Shore held off L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI), 5-0, in a non-league test.
