New York High School Softball - School of the Arts held off by Early College

In Monday's non-league test, the Early College Sharks (Yonkers, NY) softball squad got by the visiting School of the Arts Silverhawks (Rochester, NY), by a tally of 16-15.

Next, the Sharks clash with the Edison Tech Inventors (Rochester, NY) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 6. Early College will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record.

The Silverhawks (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Gates Chili (Rochester, NY). The Spartans go into the Class A test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Gates Chili was nudged by Batavia (Batavia, NY), 7-3, in a league test.
