The Monroe Hornets softball squad (Monroe, OH), was routed 11-3 in Monday's league contest with the host Edgewood Cougars (Trenton, OH)
With the triumph, Edgewood improves its record to 6-14 on the year. The Cougars host Talawanda (Oxford, OH) to face the Brave in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 7. The Brave go into the test with a record of 15-6. Talawanda won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH)
The Hornets (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH). The Golden Eagles go into the Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern test with a 13-10 record. In their last test, Bellbrook was routed by Ross (Hamilton, OH), 2-0, in a league test.
