California High School Softball - El Rancho sneaks past Santa Fe

The El Rancho Dons softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Santa Fe Chiefs to 4 in the Dons league win on Monday.

The Dons now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whittier for a Del Rio battle on Wednesday, May 7. El Rancho will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 11-0 league loss to California (Whittier, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-17.

With the loss, Santa Fe moves to 10-15 on the season. The Chiefs host La Serna (Whittier, CA) to confront the Lancers in a Del Rio battle on Wednesday, May 7. The Lancers come into the battle with a record of 14-10. La Serna lost 5-4 in their recent league battle against California (Whittier, CA)
