In Monday's league test, the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers (Erie, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Mendota Trojans (Mendota, IL), by a tally of 13-1.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Newman Central Catholic Comets (Sterling, IL) in a Three Rivers East test, on Tuesday, May 6. Erie-Prophetstown will attempt to advance on its 10-9 season record. The Comets go into the test with a 6-12 record after their 6-3 league loss to Kewanee (Kewanee, IL).

The Trojans (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Princeton (Princeton, IL). The Tigers go into the Three Rivers East challenge with a 11-9 record. In their last challenge, Princeton overcame Hall (Spring Valley, IL), 16-0, in a league challenge.
