The Stanwood Spartans softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Everett Seagulls to 0 in the Spartans league win on Monday.

The Spartans now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Snohomish for a 2A/3A Wesco battle on Wednesday, May 7. Stanwood will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 8-0 league win over Marysville Getchell (Marysville, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-5.

With the loss, Everett moves to 7-12 on the season. The Seagulls host Arlington (Arlington, WA) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 7. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 5-13. Arlington lost 6-1 in their recent league battle against Glacier Peak (Snohomish, WA)
