In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Stearns Minutemen softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Greenville Lakers.

The Minutemen (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME). The Howlers come into the Class D North match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Penobscot Valley notched a victory over Schenck (East Millinocket, ME), 16-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Lakers battle the Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, May 7. Greenville will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Patriots come into the match with a 0-4 record after their 14-0 league loss to Dexter (Dexter, ME).
