Hempfield Black Knights (Landisville, PA) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host J.P. McCaskey Red Tornado (Lancaster, PA), 6-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, Hempfield improves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Black Knights host Red Lion (Red Lion, PA) to play the Lions in a non-league game on Thursday, May 8. The Lions enter the game with a record of 10-5.

The Red Tornado now hold a 8-13 record.
