New York High School Softball - Holland Patent knocked off by Vernon-Verona-Sherrill

The Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils overwhelmed the host Holland Patent Golden Knights softball squad by a count of 14-1 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Red Devils meet the Rome Free Academy Black Knights (Rome, NY) in a Section 3 Tri-Valley challenge, on Monday, May 12. Vernon-Verona-Sherrill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Black Knights go into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 20-2 league win over Proctor (Utica, NY).
The Golden Knights (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Oneida (Oneida, NY). The Express go into the Section 3 Tri-Valley challenge with a 2-4 record.
