California High School Softball - Roybal sneaks past Hollywood

In Monday's league match, the host Roybal Titans softball team scored a tight 14-13 win over the Hollywood Sheiks.

The Titans (9-4) will now prepare for their match against Contreras (Los Angeles, CA). The Cobras come into the Central match with a 7-8 record. In their last match, Contreras nipped Belmont (Los Angeles, CA), 23-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Sheiks battle the Robert F. Kennedy Community Bobcats (Los Angeles, CA) in a Central match, on Thursday, May 8. Hollywood will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 17-0 league loss to Mendez (Los Angeles, CA).
