In Monday's league match, the host North Mason Bulldogs softball team scored a tight 3-2 win over the Kingston Buccaneers.
The Bulldogs (11-6) will now prepare for their match against Bainbridge (Bainbridge Island, WA). The Spartans come into the 2A Olympic match with a 1-10 record. In their last match, Bainbridge nipped Bremerton (Bremerton, WA), 5-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Buccaneers confront the Olympic Trojans (Bremerton, WA) in a 2A Olympic match, on Thursday, May 8. Kingston will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 17-3 record after their 9-2 league win over Sequim (Sequim, WA).
