Kentucky High School Softball - Pike County Central sneaks past Knott County Central

The Pike County Central Hawks (Pikeville, KY) softball nipped the host Knott County Central Patriots (Hindman, KY), 15-14 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Hawks now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Phelps for a District 60 outing on Tuesday, May 6. Pike County Central will encounter a Hornets team coming off a 19-4 non-league win over Hannan (Ashton, WV). The Hornets record now stands at 1-13.

With the loss, Knott County Central moves to 10-12 on the season. The Patriots host Jenkins (Jenkins, KY) to encounter the Cavaliers in a District 53 outing on Tuesday, May 6. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a record of 13-5.
