In Monday's league test, the Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) softball squad got by the host Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL), by a tally of 1-0.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL) in a North Suburban test, on Wednesday, May 7. Stevenson will attempt to advance on its 18-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 0-14 record after their 18-2 league loss to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL).

The Mustangs (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Wildcats go into the North Suburban challenge with a 14-7 record. In their last challenge, Libertyville edged Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL), 11-2, in a league challenge.
