New York High School Softball - Mynderse Academy bounces Newark

The Mynderse Academy Blue Devils (Seneca Falls, NY) softball routed the visiting Newark Reds (Newark, NY), 17-9 in Monday's league outing.

The Blue Devils now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne for a Finger Lakes East outing on Thursday, May 8. Mynderse Academy will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 14-10 non-league win over Aquinas Institute (Rochester, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Newark moves to 4-9 on the season. The Reds host Whitman (Rushville, NY) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 6. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 0-3.
