The White Mountains Spartans softball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Newfound Regional Bears to 0 in the Spartans league win on Monday.

The Spartans now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mascoma for a Division III battle on Wednesday, May 7. White Mountains will encounter a Royals team coming off a 26-1 league loss to Fall Mountain (Langdon, NH). The Royals record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Newfound Regional moves to 0-6 on the season. The Bears host Trinity (Manchester, NH) to encounter the Pioneers in a Division III battle on Wednesday, May 7. The Pioneers come into the battle with a record of 1-6. Trinity lost 8-6 in their recent league battle against Raymond (Raymond, NH)
