The St. Genevieve Valiants softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Pomona Catholic Pacers to 6 in the Valiants league win on Monday.

The Valiants now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Salle for a Santa Fe battle on Tuesday, May 6. St. Genevieve will confront a Lancers team coming off a 6-0 league win over Sacred Heart of Jesus (Los Angeles, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 15-4.

With the loss, Pomona Catholic moves to 3-7 on the season. The Pacers travel to Sacred Heart of Jesus (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Comets in a Santa Fe battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Comets come into the battle with a record of 13-8. Sacred Heart of Jesus lost 6-0 in their recent league battle against La Salle (Pasadena, CA)
