The Workman Lobos overwhelmed the visiting Pomona Red Devils softball squad by a count of 18-5 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Lobos meet the La Puente Warriors (La Puente, CA) in a Miramonte challenge, on Tuesday, May 6. Workman will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 16-0 league loss to Ganesha (Pomona, CA).
The Red Devils (2-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Edgewood (West Covina, CA). The Lions go into the Miramonte challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Edgewood was routed by Workman (City of Industry, CA), 12-5, in a non-league challenge.
