In Monday's league test, the South Medford Panthers (Medford, OR) softball squad overwhelmed the host Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR), by a tally of 10-4.

Next, the Panthers clash with the South Eugene Axe (Eugene, OR) in a 6A Southwest test, on Tuesday, May 6. South Medford will attempt to advance on its 13-7 season record. The Axe go into the test with a 3-15 record after their 10-8 league win over Willamette (Eugene, OR).

The Wolverines (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Grants Pass (Grants Pass, OR). The Cavemen go into the 6A Southwest test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Grants Pass held off South Eugene (Eugene, OR), 15-3, in a league test.
