Connecticut High School Softball - Stonington bounces Killingly

The Stonington Bears softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Killingly Trailblazers to 3 in the Bears league win on Tuesday.

The Bears now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodstock Academy for a Eastern Connecticut - Medium battle on Saturday, May 9. Stonington will confront a Centaurs team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT). The Centaurs record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, Killingly moves to 8-5 on the season. The Trailblazers host Waterford (Waterford, CT) to confront the Lancers in a non-league battle on Monday, May 11. The Lancers come into the battle with a record of 8-5.
