The Montini Catholic Broncos softball team scored 1 runs and held the visiting St. Laurence Vikings to 0 in the Broncos league win on Tuesday.

The Broncos now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mother McAuley for a GCAC- Red battle on Friday, May 8. Montini Catholic will confront a Mighty Macs team coming off a 13-2 league loss to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Mighty Macs record now stands at 7-14.

With the loss, St. Laurence moves to 17-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL) to confront the Celtics in a GCAC- Red battle on Thursday, May 7. The Celtics come into the battle with a record of 22-4. Providence Catholic won 13-2 in their recent league battle against Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL)
