San Clemente Tritons (San Clemente, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA), 4-2 in a league challenge.

The Tritons now own a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they host Capistrano Valley for a Sea View challenge on Tuesday, May 11. San Clemente will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 12-0 league win over Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 8-3.

In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Trabuco Hills Mustangs (Mission Viejo, CA) in a Sea View game, on Tuesday, May 11. El Toro will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 3-10 record after their 5-3 league win over Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA).
