In Friday's non-league game, the host Alexander Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Taft Raiders.
The Bulldogs (24-7) will now prepare for their game against Taft (Taft, TX). The Greyhounds go into the non-league game with a 16-11 record. In their last game, Taft was overwhelmed by Santa Gertrudis Academy (Kingsville, TX), 6-1, in a non-league game.
The Raiders (14-13) will now prepare for their game against Alexander (Laredo, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 24-7 record. In their last game, Alexander tipped Taft (San Antonio, TX), 8-1, in a non-league game.
