Texas High School Baseball - Taft loses to Santa Gertrudis Academy

The Taft Greyhounds baseball team (Taft, TX), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Santa Gertrudis Academy Lions (Kingsville, TX)

The Lions now hold a 20-7 record. They take the field next when they host Taft for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 7. Santa Gertrudis Academy will face a Greyhounds team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Santa Gertrudis Academy (Kingsville, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 16-11.

Next, the Greyhounds face the Alexander Bulldogs (Laredo, TX) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, May 7. Taft will attempt to advance on its 16-11 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 24-7 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Taft (San Antonio, TX).
