Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Lawrence tips Billerica Memorial

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Lawrence Lancers (Lawrence, MA) and the visiting Billerica Memorial Indians (Billerica, MA), saw Lawrence's volleyball squad nip Billerica Memorial by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Lawrence upgrades its record to 3-8 on the year. The Lancers host Chelmsford (North Chelmsford, MA) to meet the Lions in a Merrimack Valley game on Monday, May 9. The Lions enter the game with a record of 4-6. Chelmsford lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against St. John's Prep (Danvers, MA)

The Indians (2-11) will now prepare for their game against Malden (Malden, MA). The Golden Tornados enter the non-league game with a 12-1 record. In their last game, Malden held off Greater Lawrence Tech (Andover, MA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
