In Friday's league battle, the host Westerly Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Central Knights.

The Bulldogs (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Tolman (Pawtucket, RI). The Tigers come into the Division 2 battle with a 0-10 record. In their last battle, Tolman lost by Toll Gate (Warwick, RI), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Knights clash with the East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI) in a Division 2 battle, on Monday, May 9. Central will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The Townies come into the battle with a 9-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Barrington (Barrington, RI).
