Illinois High School Volleyball - Lake Zurich can't hold off New Trier

May 6, 2022: Winnetka, IL 60093

In Friday's non-league battle, the host New Trier Trevians volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Lake Zurich Bears.

The Trevians (19-5) will now prepare for their battle against Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league battle with a 28-1 record. In their last battle, Glenbard West nudged Maine South (Park Ridge, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bears encounter the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 7. Lake Zurich will attempt to move on its 7-22 season record. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a 8-19 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL).
