The Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Woonsocket Villa Novans to 0 in the Mounties league victory on Friday.

The Mounties now possess a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barrington for a Division 2 game on Monday, May 9. Mount St. Charles Academy will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 league loss to East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Eagles record now stands at 6-5.

The Villa Novans (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Patriots enter the Division 2 game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, Pilgrim was dropped by West Warwick (West Warwick, RI), 3-0, in a league game.
