The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ursuline Academy Bears (Dedham, MA) and the host Cardinal Spellman Cardinals (Brockton, MA), saw Ursuline Academy's lacrosse team overcome Cardinal Spellman by a margin of 16-9.

The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bellingham (Bellingham, MA). The Blackhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 1-12 record. In their last challenge, Bellingham was overwhelmed by Medfield (Medfield, MA), 18-0, in a league challenge.
