California High School Softball - Argonaut bounces Amador

Argonaut Mustangs (Jackson, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Amador Buffaloes (Sutter Creek, CA), 13-5 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calaveras for a challenge on Tuesday, May 10. Argonaut will meet a squad coming off a 24-4 league win over Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA). The record now stands at 17-5.

With the loss, Amador moves to 0-12 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to Sonora (Sonora, CA) to meet the Wildcats in a match on Thursday, May 12. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 6-6.
