The crowd at Friday's league match between the Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Canyon Hills Rattlers (San Diego, CA), saw Point Loma's softball squad achieve victory over Canyon Hills by a count of 18-2.

The Pointers now sport a 6-19 record. They take the field next when they host Mission Bay for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 10. Point Loma will encounter a Buccaneers team coming off a 20-4 league loss to Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 0-7.

The Rattlers (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Academy of Our Lady of Peace (San Diego, CA). The Pilots come into the test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Academy of Our Lady of Peace was routed by Clairemont (San Diego, CA), 13-7, in a league test.
