The Chula Vista Learning Community Charter Cobras routed the visiting King-Chavez Community Vaqueros softball squad by a final score of 22-7 in Friday's league battle.

The Cobras (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against San Diego Academy (National City, CA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, San Diego Academy was routed by Calvary Christian Academy (Chula Vista, CA), 16-2, in a league battle.

The Vaqueros now possess a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Calvary Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, May 9. King-Chavez Community will meet a Royal Knights squad coming off a 17-1 league win over St. Joseph Academy (San Marcos, CA). The Royal Knights record now stands at 10-2.
