Grantsburg Pirates (Grantsburg, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Turtle Lake/Clayton Lakers (Turtle Lake, WI), 15-0 in a league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Altoona for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 7.
With the loss, Turtle Lake/Clayton falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Lakers host Unity (Balsam Lake, WI) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
