The Fairfield Union Falcons baseball team (Lancaster, OH), was overwhelmed 12-0 in Saturday's league outing with the visiting Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs (Carroll, OH)
The Bulldogs now hold a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Logan Elm for a Mid-State - Buckeye outing on Monday, May 8. Bloom-Carroll will confront a Braves team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Hamilton Township (Columbus, OH). The Braves record now stands at 3-17.
Next, the Falcons confront the Maysville Panthers (Zanesville, OH) in a non-league outing, on Monday, May 8. Fairfield Union will attempt to advance on its 12-9 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 2-15 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Bishop Rosecrans (Zanesville, OH).
