In Saturday's non-league game, the host Penn Kingsmen baseball team scored a tight 7-3 victory over the Carroll Chargers.
The Kingsmen (10-5) will now prepare for their game against South Bend St. Joseph (South Bend, IN). The Indians go into the Northern Indiana game with a 9-7 record. In their last game, South Bend St. Joseph was overwhelmed by Jimtown (Elkhart, IN), 5-1, in a league game.
The Chargers (16-3) will now prepare for their game against North Miami (Denver, IN). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, North Miami was overwhelmed by Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN), 8-5, in a league game.
