The Carthage Comets baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the host Watertown Cyclones to 0 in the Comets league victory on Saturday.
The Comets (6-6) will now prepare for their match against Adirondack (Boonville, NY). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Adirondack edged Holland Patent (Holland Patent, NY), 3-1, in a non-league match.
The Cyclones (2-6) will now prepare for their match against South Jefferson (Adams, NY). The Spartans go into the Section 3 Frontier C match with a 13-0 record. In their last match, South Jefferson edged Indian River (Philadelphia, NY), 9-5, in a non-league test.
