In Saturday's non-league game, the host Pike County Pirates baseball team scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Franklin County Lions.
The Pirates (23-13) will now prepare for their game against Franklin County (Carnesville, GA). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 27-7 record. In their last game, Franklin County tipped Adairsville (Adairsville, GA), 12-8, in a non-league game.
The Lions (27-9) will now prepare for their game against Pike County (Zebulon, GA). The Pirates go into the non-league game with a 21-13 record.
