The Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT) baseball trounced the visiting Lyman Memorial Bulldogs (Lebanon, CT), 6-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Panthers play the New London Whalers (New London, CT) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 6. Plainfield will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Whalers enter the contest with a 5-8 record after their 9-6 non-league win over Waterford (Waterford, CT).
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Bernard for a Eastern Connecticut - Division IV contest on Tuesday, May 9. Lyman Memorial will play a Saints squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Harvard Ellis Tech (Killingly, CT). The Saints record now stands at 13-1.
