In Saturday's league game, the host St. Christopher's Saints baseball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks.
The Saints (12-8) will now prepare for their game against Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA). The Tigers go into the Virginia Prep game with a 5-8 record. In their last game, Woodberry Forest tipped Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA), 10-7, in a non-league game.
The Mavericks (17-13) will now prepare for their game against Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA). The Caissons go into the non-league game with a 4-11 record. In their last game, Fishburne Military was edged by Covenant (Charlottesville, VA), 12-2, in a league game.
