In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Poteet Pirates (Mesquite, TX) baseball squad triumphed over the host Molina Jaguars (Dallas, TX), by a margin of 8-2.
With the win, Poteet betters its record to 13-4 on the season. The Pirates travel to Lone Star (Frisco, TX) to encounter the Rangers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 24-10. Lone Star won 11-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Memorial (Frisco, TX)
With the defeat, Molina falls to 13-12 on the season.
