The St. Joseph Bears crushed the visiting Niles Vikings baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Bears now possess a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host Portage Central for a Southwestern Michigan - West bout on Thursday, May 11. St. Joseph will face a Mustangs team coming off a 14-13 non-league loss to Kalamazoo Christian (Kalamazoo, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-7.

Next, the Vikings face the Edwardsburg Eddies (Edwardsburg, MI) in a Wolverine B bout, on Tuesday, May 9. Niles will attempt to move on its 10-7 season record. The Eddies enter the bout with a 8-8 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN).
