The Sheldon Irish baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Roseburg Indians to 4 in the Irish league victory on Saturday.
The Irish (11-12) will now prepare for their match against Mountainside (Beaverton, OR). The Mavericks come into the non-league challenge with a 13-4 record.
With the defeat, Roseburg falls to 14-6 on the season. The Indians host Willamette (Eugene, OR) to battle the Wolverines in a 6A Southwest challenge on Tuesday, May 9. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 8-15. Willamette won 6-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Churchill (Eugene, OR)
