Pennsylvania High School Baseball - South Side gets by Seton LaSalle

May 6, 2023: Hookstown, PA 15050

South Side Rams (Hookstown, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Seton LaSalle Rebels (Pittsburgh, PA), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, South Side upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Rams host New Brighton (New Brighton, PA) to battle the Lions in a WPIAL 2A 2 test on Monday, May 8. The Lions come into the test with a record of 12-4. New Brighton won 10-0 in their recent league test against Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA)

With the defeat, Seton LaSalle falls to 11-4 on the season. The Rebels travel to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA) to battle the Chargers in a WPIAL 2A 2 test on Monday, May 8. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 11-6. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart won 11-1 in their recent league test against Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA)
