The West Ottawa Panthers baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Thornapple Kellogg Trojans to 1 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers (9-10) will now prepare for their match against Caledonia (Caledonia, MI). The Fighting Scots go into the non-league match with a 4-12 record. In their last match, Caledonia was overwhelmed by East Kentwood (Kentwood, MI), 14-10, in a non-league match.
The Trojans (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Kenowa Hills tipped Cedar Springs (Cedar Springs, MI), 7-1, in a non-league match.
