In Saturday's non-league game, the host Chaparral Wolverines baseball team scored a tight 8-3 victory over the Columbine Rebels.
The Wolverines (16-1) will now prepare for their game against Castle View (Castle Rock, CO). The Sabercats go into the non-league game with a 8-9 record. In their last game, Castle View was overwhelmed by Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO), 7-6, in a non-league game.
The Rebels (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 11-4 record. In their last game, Valor Christian tipped Lakewood (Lakewood, CO), 5-4, in a league game.
