The crowd at Saturday's league match between the East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) and the host Rushville Lions (Rushville, IN), saw East Central's softball squad nip Rushville by a count of 7-4.

The Trojans now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Connersville for a match on Monday, May 8. East Central will face a Spartans squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Tri (Straughn, IN). The Spartans record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Rushville falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Greensburg (Greensburg, IN) to face the Pirates in a match on Monday, May 8. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 0-1. Greensburg lost 15-0 in their recent league match against Franklin County (Brookville, IN)
