Spectators at Saturday's league match between the Saranac Lake Red Storm (Saranac Lake, NY) and the visiting AuSable Valley Patriots (Clintonville, NY), witnessed Saranac Lake's softball squad tip AuSable Valley by a count of 2-1.
The Red Storm now sport a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to AuSable Valley for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I match on Saturday, May 6. Saranac Lake will face a Patriots squad coming off a 20-2 league loss to Peru (Peru, NY). The Patriots record now stands at 3-2.
