In Saturday's league outing, the visiting John Bapst Memorial Crusaders softball team scored a big 44-0 win over the Caribou Vikings.
Coming up next, the Crusaders battle the Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME) in a non-league outing, on Monday, May 8. John Bapst Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Raiders enter the outing with a 2-5 record after their 8-4 league loss to Sumner (East Sullivan, ME).
The Vikings (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Houlton (Houlton, ME). The Shiretowners enter the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Houlton walloped Calais (Calais, ME), 13-5, in a league outing.
