The Centennial Chargers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Richwoods Knights to 0 in the Chargers league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Centennial moves its record to 10-12 on the year. The Chargers host Clinton (Clinton, IL) to clash with the Maroons in a non-league game on Monday, May 8. The Maroons come into the game with a record of 7-20. Clinton won 18-0 in their recent league game against St. Teresa (Decatur, IL)

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Midwest Central/Illini Central Raiders (Manito, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 8. Richwoods will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 11-10 record after their 10-3 non-league loss to Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL).
